INTRO...

Welcome frnds welcome to my blog , and this post . So as you all know I have uploaded two post earlier on events on this blog  , one on republic day and other on vasant panchmi .  So the topic which I am choosing today is very important for all of us . Basically this event is the only event which all of us especially teenagers wait for , this is the best event in their life , as they think this to be the most important day in their life . I hope you have understood about which event I am talking about .

Yes you are correct , this is Valentine's Day . This is the only festival for which all the teenagers wait for and now a days small children also wait for this day. So today I am going to tell you about this event actualy I think it is not necessary to tell you about this event you already know about his in detail but still I am trying to share some more information on this event about which I think that you dont know. So lets begin....

WHAT IS VALENTINE'S DAY...

So now we all know that what is valentines day but there are still some people who do not know about this event , may be they are of old times or any other reason . So this blog will help them to know about this event . So let us first discuss what is Valentine's day .

Valentine's Day also known as Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is an event which is celebrated annually every year in approximately all countries . It is celebrated on 14th February every year .It was originated in West in the honor of saint Valentinus . In India it is celebrated as not a such big event rather it is celebrated as only a festival for teenagers but in some regions it is recognized as a cultural and commercial event . February is celebrated as a month of romance .

There are many stories related to the celebration of valentines day in february . Some account for Saint Valentine of Rome which indicated he was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, who were persecuted under the Roman Empire. According to legend, during his imprisonment, Saint Valentine healed the daughter of his jailer, Asterius, and before his execution, he wrote her a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell.

While some believe that Valentine’s Day is celebrated in the middle of February to commemorate the anniversary of Valentine’s death or burial–which probably occurred around A.D. 270–others claim that the Christian church may have decided to place St. Valentine’s feast day in the middle of February in an effort to “Christianize” the pagan celebration of Lupercalia. Celebrated at the ides of February, or February 15, Lupercalia was a fertility festival dedicated to Faunus, the Roman god of agriculture, as well as to the Roman founders Romulus and Remus.

CELEBRATION OF VALENTINE'S DAY...

Every year it is celebrated as the day of love on 14th February . Basically it is celebrated as Valentine's Week from 7th Feb and it ends on 14th Feb . There are seven days of different ways to express love . And at the end of these days this Valentine's day is celebrated . These seven days are as follows....

1st day of valentine  7th Feb 2017 ------- Rose Day

2nd day of valentine  8th Feb ------- Propose Day

3rd day of valentine  9th Feb 2017 -----Chocolate Day

4th day of valentine  10th Feb 2017 -------Teddy Day

5th day of valentine  11th Feb 2017 -------Promise Day

6th day of valentine  12th Feb 2017 -------Hug Day

7th day of valentine  13th Feb 2017 -------Kiss Day

8th day of valentine  14th Feb 2017 -----Valentine's Day

So these are the eight days of the valentine week  , it starts with Rose Day and ends with Valentine's Day .
So I am going to explain these days , that what are they and what happens on these days , and how to celebrate them ..

8 Days Of Valentine Week...

Rose Day...

It is the first day of valentine week therefore it is very special , therefore on this day we start the celebration of valentine week by giving red yellow roses to other people . The color of the rose depends on your feelings which you have for the other person . If you are in a friendship then you can give the yellow one and if you are in love then red are for you . We give flowers because these are believed to be the best one to express our feelings and amongst those also roses are the best.

Chocolate Day...

This is the second day of valentine week . So this day is celebrated as chocolate day . Chocolates are sweet therefore we spread happiness and sweetness in our relationships with others by giving them chocolates . We can give different shapes of chocolates to our love one's like we can give heart shapped chocolates to our girlfriends , boyfriends , wives or our husbands . This expresses our feelings for them .

Teddy Day...

So now we comes to the third day of valentine week . This is celebrated as teddy day .These teddies are given to our love ones as a gift . These teddies are found to be cutiest gifts therefore they are given by the lovers basically by the boys to the girls as the boys express their cute feelings of love for their partner . Teddies  remind us the moments of past which we have forgotten , we can share aour feelings with that , therefore these are given as a present.

Propose Day...

Here is the forth day of valentine week . On the fourth day of valentine week we celebrate propose day . We all know the meaning of propose , yes you are correct means telling someone that we are in love with that person . So all of us has a fear in proposing the person who we are in love with . Therfore this is the best day to propose our lovemate . This day we can approach our crush and share our feelings directly to the person .

Hug Day...

Hug day is the fifth day of valentine week . Now when you have proposed your soulmate and you have got the desired reply so now it is the time to make your relationship to move to the next level . You should get a hug from your lover . This is the best day to share your happiness by hugging your love ones .It gives a warm and charming feeling which makes you and others happy. This day begins the love life of a new couple . Huge is the first close contact between two lovers .Therefore this day has a lot of significance.

Promise Day...

Now we are moving to the end of the valentine week we come to the sixth day . This is promise day . So now your relationship has reached to a next level after the hug day .So now is the time to make your relationship strong by promising your partner .It is easy to make promise but very difficult to keep that promise . Therfore on this day you make promises to your partner and you have to keep your promises to make your relationship strong .

Kiss Day...

Now we have come to the second last bu the most interesting day of valentine week . I hope you have understood  about which I am talking about . Yes it is Kiss day . This is the day for which every couple wait . After proposing hugging and making promises your relationship has now reached to a new level . So its time to make your relationship more stronger by kissing each other .Kiss is the sweetest form to express our feelings . You can express your feelings for your partner by kissing him.

Valentine's Day...

So now we had come to the end of valentine week , to the main event Valentine's day . It is celebrated on 14th Feb . This is the day when you spend your whole day with your lover , you can make them feel special by doing different activities . You can express your views by giving chocolates , roses , or any other gifts . You can make them feel romantic by sending images , messages , emails , videos or any other media.

You can give candies , cards to your lovemate .Just think that this whole day is for you and your partner . You can spend this day in the way you want .

Valentine's day is celebrated differently in different places like in India, , there was a tradition of adoring Kamadeva, the lord of love; exemplificated by the erotic carvings in the Khajuraho Group of Monuments and by the writing of the Kamasutra treaty of lovemaking. This tradition was lost around the Middle Ages, when Kamadeva was no longer celebrated, and public displays of sexual affection became frowned upon. This repression of public affections persisted until the 1990.

In the United States, about 190 million Valentine's Day cards are sent each year, not including the hundreds of millions of cards school children exchange. Additionally, in recent decades Valentine's Day has become increasingly commercialized and a popular gift-giving event, with Valentine’s Day themed advertisements encouraging spending on loved ones. In fact, in the United States alone, the average valentine’s spending has increased every year, from $108 a person in 2010 to $131 in 2013 .

So there are different ways to celebrate valentine's day . Couples go on dates in a restaurant , hotels to spend time with each other. They give each other cards which are made by them not  bought from market as it represents their love for their partner .They remind each other their memories of past , memories of love , the first day when they met . This day is also very good for starting their new married life.

This day is not only meant for young teenagers , we think that only teenage children celebrate this event but thats not true , old aged people also celebrate this day with full romance . They propose their life partner and go on dates , it doesn't matter what is their age , only thing which matter is their love for their soulmate . Their heart should be young . And the people who has a lot of love for their life partner celebrate this event with full joy , which proves that this event is not only for young teenagers , but also for old aged couples .

So that was all about Valentine's day ..... I hope you liked it ....... If you found anything not relevant then I am really very sorry..... But please give me some suggestions to be added on this post ... so that I can improve the quality of my blog....

So go and celebrate this event with your partner and make this day as a special event of your life...which can never be forgotton.....!!!

So keep celebrating and may your Valentine's Day be the best day of your life...!!!

HISTORY OF REPUBLIC DAY..

Now we all know what is republic day , so people may have questions in their mind that why is this celebrated , what are the past happenings due to which it is celebrated.

The main reason behind the celebration of republic day is that on this day that is 26 January 1950 our means INDIA'S CONSTITUTION was imposed that means the rules of the constitution were made legal.Everyone has to follow these rules from that day.Our country became independent republic. When our country was the under the rule of UK that is BRITISHERS we do not have any constitution or set of rules of our own our rules were  based on the modified colonial Government of Indian Act 1935.

On 4 November 1947 the first draft of constitution was presented to the assembly , but it was signed by the national assembly on the 24 January 1950 in two languages Hindi and English. Our constitution came into effect on 26 January 1950.At this time DR B R AMBEDKAR  was the chairman .This day was marked as the birth of modern India. This day was choosen because this was the day of PURNA SWARAJ on 1930.Afer almost 1200 years our country gained control over its own it was self dependent , having rules of its own.On this day world's longest constitution was presented for the world's largest democracy. It constituted of total 448 articles.

Our constitution makers took the best aspects from other countries' constitution . The concept of liberty , fraternity , and equality came from French constitution and the Five years plan came from USSR constitution.

According to constitution people had power to select their own representatives for democracy. RAJENDRA PRASAD was selected as the first PRESIDENT of  INDIA and took oath at the DURBAR HALL at government house followed by a presidential drive to the IRWIN stadium , where India's flag was unfurled.
